PHOTO TO PAINTING CUSTOM GERMAN SHEPHERD PET PORTRAIT
Meet Bear the GORGEOUS German Shepherd! I had a blast painting this 16x20 custom acrylic on stretched canvas. Bear's owner Jeff is an excellent photographer so his reference photo was stunning!
3 TIPS I do when painting a pet portrait :
Start with a Cadmium Red Light as a undercoat
Use my ipad to blow up details of the photo, especially the eyes.
Use a color wheel to determine my color pallet
