![]() This is a beautiful picture of Edgar. I wanted to create a tropical lush feel in the final painting while making Edgar the focal point. By cropping in tighter, I was able to get more detail in Edgar's eyes and fur. By using a wet in wet technique for the background, the effect is soft and out of focus like a photo taken with a small aperture. It was important to retain the whites with masking fluid unfortunately, my application nib was clogged so I resorted to my eyeliner brush, which worked out even better. What do you think?
